Saints QB Drew Brees says he plans to start vs. Arizona on Sunday

Drew Brees is back.

At least that is the indication for the sidelined New Orleans Saints quarterback.  

The Saints season looked like it was going to head down the tubes when Brees, their franchise quarterback, was sidelined for most of the fist half of the season.

Since he went down, the team is 5-1 thanks to the outstanding play of Teddy Bridgewater.  His excellence allowed the Saints to remain in the hunt for the Super Bowl.

The Saints have a bye after meeting the Cardinals this weekend.  Many thought it would be best to give Bridgewater another start and give Brees two more weeks to fully heal.

If Brees is to be believed, that will not be the case.  He will be in the lineup against the Cardinals.
