ICC plans to increase team numbers in T20 World Cup
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has begun considering increasing the number of teams in the T20 World Cup keeping in view the promotion of the game and the interest of the fans. Participate in the scheduled T20 World Cup in Australia in October of this year. But at the events held in the calendar from 2023 to 2031, the ICC has begun to consider increasing the number of teams to 20.
The first T20 in the next eight-year schedule is scheduled in the World Cup 2024 and potentially 20 teams will participate in the event. According to reports, if there are 20 teams participating in the event then four groups will be formed and Each group will consist of 5 teams whose best teams will make the knockout

انٹرنیشنل کرکٹ کونسل (آئی سی سی) نے کھیل کے فروغ اور شائقین کی دلچسپی کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے ٹی20 ورلڈ کپ میں ٹیموں کی تعداد بڑھانے پر غور شروع کردیا ہے۔رواں سال اکتوبر میں آسٹریلیا میں شیڈول ٹی 20 ورلڈ کپ میں 16 ٹیمیں شرکت کریں گی لیکن 2023 سے 2031 کے کیلنڈر میں منعقد ہونے والے ایونٹس میں آئی سی سی نے ٹیموں کی تعداد بڑھا کر 20 کرنے پر غور شروع کردیا ہے۔
اگلے آٹھ سالہ شیڈول میں پہلا ٹی20 ورلڈ کپ 2024 میں شیڈول ہے اور اس میں ممکنہ طور پر 20 ٹیمیں ایونٹ میں شرکت کریں گی۔رپورٹس کے مطابق اگر ایونٹ میں 20 ٹیموں کو حصہ بنایا جاتا ہے تو ایسی صورت میں چار گروپ بنائے جائیں گے اور ہر گروپ 5 ٹیموں پر مشتمل ہو گا جس کی بہترین ٹیمیں ناک آؤٹ میں جگہ بنائیں گی
