I think one thing to keep in mind when watching football teams play is that it is very difficult to be consistent. Every team has one game at least where they just don’t play well. Maybe they underestimate the opponent or they don’t come ready to play or they make a ton of mental errors. Nick Saban at Bama tries to prevent that mindset with his players and it’s still a struggle. I think we’ve seen this happen with OU, Clemson and Georgia. I think OU will bounce back and finish strong. I think they took K-State lightly and K-State came ready to play and beat them up and down the field. There will be other teams that struggle to bring their best. The great teams get better as the season goes.
