Anthony Davis on possibly joining hometown Bulls: 'I mean, I am a free agent next year'

Anthony Davis came to Los Angeles from the New Orleans Pelicans in a blockbuster off season deal.  This immediately cast the Lakers into contention in the Western Conference, especially after the troubles that befell the Golden State Warriors.

Davis is a free agent next year.  He is back in his hometown of Chicago as the Lakers take on the Bulls.  In a surprise visit to a school, Davis was asked about the prospect of coming home to play.

The superstar had to be diplomatic about how he answered the question.  Was he about to tell a room full of school kids that he was not going to come back?  Of course not.

The Lakers want to keep Davis.  That said, any other team in the league with salary cap space would love to land him.  Davis has not make his intentions known.

He certainly was diplomatic when he was talking to the children.
