Pakistan Cricket Board says Bangladesh 'reluctant' to tour country for Test series despite ICC assurances- Firstcricket News, Firstpost
(Edited)
According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Bangladesh is reluctant to play test series in Pakistan and offered to play a T-20 series instead. PCB has asked BCB about it's refusal to play test series in Pakistan due to security concerns, despite Pakistan being certified by International Cricket Council (ICC) as a secure location.
Currently Pakistan is hosting a test series with Siri Lanka. Pakistan is providing water tight security to Sirilankan team and assured Bangladesh of the same security measures. Whether Bangladesh will agree to play test series in Pakistan next month, that remains yet to be seen. But the decision by BCC seems more politically motivated that due to security concerns.
