Today this morning (Philippine Time), Team Nigma defeated the surprisingly invincible Chinese team RNG to claim the Bukovel Minor championship wherein they close out their best-of-five series with a standing of 3-1. It was a hard fought game for Team Nigma since RNG took Game 1 and then Game 2 wasn’t easy since it took almost seventy minutes to be closed out in favor of Team Nigma. Game 3 was an easy win for Team Nigma as they close out that game in less than 25 minutes. And Game 4 was a colossal blunder for RNG they were up by thirty nine thousand gold but they couldn’t close out. RNG managed to take the early set of barracks which is the middle melee and range barracks of Team Nigma but that wasn’t enough and they made a mistake when they try to destroy the melee and range barracks at the top lane; they were surprised by the combo potential of Team Nigma’s lineup of Dark Seer, Earthshaker, Outworld Devourer, the lifesaving Abaddon pick and the snowballing and hard hitting Drow Ranger. The combo was greatly displayed in the top lane clash wherein it started with Mind_control’s Dark Seer Vacuum, coupled with gh’s Echo Slam of Earthshaker and a damage dealing Sanity Eclipse of w33.haa’s Outworld Devourer and being finished by Miracle’s Drow Ranger that resulted to a team wipe, 6 deaths since Spectre of Team RNG was having the Aegis of Immortal. Despite the huge gold deficit, Team Nigma directly harassed and destroyed each lane of barracks of Team RNG and eventually eliminating the core heroes of the Chinese team and prompting the Chinese team to call the GG.

Team Nigma’s performance prove that they are indeed the King of the Lower Brackets, they did that back in 2017 under Team Liquid as their team sponsor wherein they took home the Aegis of Champions. Nigma’s victory also secured them the last slot of Dreamleague Season 13: The Leipzig Major and with that result, I think Nigma has a very high chance of winning that tournament. Anyways, great teams are playing in that said tournament which is to be held this month too. My top 5 (not in order) are as follows: TNC Predator, Team Nigma, Team Secret, Evil Geniuses and Vici Gaming.
