Should professional athletes be allowed to smoke cannabis while not performing?

Ex-Lion's star Calvin "Megatron" Johnson admitted so smoking cannabis after games while he was an active plater. This goes against official NFL rule.

"During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Megatron revealed that he smoked marijuana after nearly every game he played in from 2007 until his retirement in 2015. According to Johnson, he used the drug to help ease the physical pain that he would feel after each game, and he also used it because he was alarmed by the rampant opioid abuse that he saw going on in the NFL."

Anyone should be able to do whatever they want within their moral compass, and thereof, the collective morality of humanity will dictate whether it's right or wrong. Not law, not politicians, not the system.

If nothing changes, then nothing changes, and compliance to a broken system, based on the whims of a few, is like walking to the gallows with your friends and asking the hangman if it's ok to live today.

Voting maintains the broken system, and collective non-compliance is the only way it will ever truly change.
