Do You Know One Secret in Boosting your Sports Rewards? - ENGAGE!

In my earliest days in this tribe, I never invested in Sports nor in Steem to buy Sports tokens. Instead, I focused on a natural and traditional way of earning - Engage.

POLICING ABUSE.png

I think most of the people here in Sportstalk never had tried this natural way of earning to other users post. So I'd like to open this topic. If we think of it, our comments have the same functionalities as making a post - being able to be voted and replied. You can insert picture/s when you comment, apply markdown tecniques, and you can write as much long as you've written a post.

The rewards will also be the same as post rewards. A split of 40-40-10 (45% author, 45% curator, 10% for @sportsvoter account).

So Why Not Engage?

Its a screenshot of my comment rewards. Please don't say the users here are not rewarding their audiences, I have been receiving decent amount of comment rewards from different users. Among the top, I'd say the most generous authors are @cryptoandcoffee, @blanchy.sports, @whatageek, @scarletreign/@battleaxe, etc.

Make sure your comment is connected to the post albeit not at all times but preferred. Ask more questions, place your opinion, provide additional information, and many more. There are many ways to connect with the author on a particular topic. I'm not good at it though, I'm just trying to emphasize them.

Even in my posts, I'm trying to reward my audiences. Its an incentive for them taking time to read on my posts because afaik, there's very little engagement in this tribe ( and even in Steemit ).

BINGO, the real dirt goes down in the comments good and bad but on here it's much more positive. I get a nice amount of fun chat back and forth which also helps keep my motivation up. "NICE POST" lol

Yeah. There's so much things happening on Steemit - accumulated issues in the past three years. Totally different from here. I guess its because who is managing the platform. Honesty has always been an issue ever since Steemit started. Imagine ninjamining 80% of the stake lol.

Totally different from here.

there's the same sort of human behavior everywhere it's just how it's managed that imho , makes the difference. I've been on Steemit 2 1/2 years and the more some things change the more they stay the same it's just like chess with diff players. I love tribes overall because it can spare you from which nasty fight is being allowed to go on unchecked. Investors and people who just wanna do their own thing and find some joy in it seem to be going the tribe route.

I agree with you whole heartedly. I have been upvoting comments from day one and how I started earning on Steem. If you want to grow you need to post decent comment sand you will be rewarded. What i find if it is late and I am going to bed i will hand out whatever VP is available as it only recharges anyway. Give it away to people who deserve it and then do the same very day. This is a good habit to have and everyone grows at the same time.

And you're on the top of the list! Only if others engage, they'll surely grow without investing.

Aside from the rewards I received when I'm commenting in youe posts, I think what drives me more is to read more of your posts. Feels like its a story telling.

That is how I grew on Steem and it sets up a great foundation for your account. I learnt that if you comments and don't get a response back you are wasting your time and just move on. After a period of time you make more out of comments than you do on posts and is the way to grow. That is the secret of this place and I never invested any money as I didn't have any. My Steem account has been made from zero.

Yeah and that was amazing. Only if I can tell my story but sooner when the time has come. I have a great story here on Steem too :)

That's how i made my start on steem as well. There used to be lots of contests for content and for commenting which gave me somewhere to begin. It gets you noticed as well which brings more people onto your posts when you do them and helps you grow.

You've made very good points.. Also through engagements, one can learn new stuffs probably from the questions asked or even healthy arguments.

Awesome post.

I agree. There are a lot of good stuff in engaging. You learn, you earn, and you'll have a new friend. Thanks bud.
