Watford and Tottenham played goalless draw today. It was tough game with few chances for both sides, but attackers
failed to convert any chance into goal. Here is Tottehnam lineup:

New hot prospect Japeth Tanganga was on left back and it's definitely not his position.

Nigel Pearson's Watford line up:

It looked like this n pitch:

Soon after kick of in 2.minute Spurs wanted penalty after handball in the box, but referee didn't think so and in counter attack Watford had nice opportunity, but shot from outside of box went wide of goal. I think referee didn't give penalty because ball hit first body of Watford defender and then his hand which was in policeman regulating traffic position.
Lamela tried his shooting skill in 16. minute, but his poor attempt went wide of goal. Minute after H. Winks made blunder on right side and practically created chance for home side, but Watford striker failed to shot on goal after. In next blunder Tanganga misjudged flight of ball (it's contagious in Spurs isn't it ? Sanchez, Aurier now Tanganga ...) , but managed to bring down Watford player who wanted to run alone into the box. He was lucky he wasn't last man in defense and got only yellow card for this. Soon after he suffered kick from sole attempt by Watford player who didn't get even yellow for this. Legend says if Son did such attempt he would get straight red card! In 30. minute Korean tried shot, ball deflected from defender, but Foster saved it. In same minute Watford made nice attack, but Alderweireld superbly cleared that cross. The biggest chance in first half was in 37. minute. Nice pass from Alli to Lucas who went alone in front of Forester but Watford goalkeeper saved his low shot. 3 minute later Son received great long high ball into the box, but his first touch shot went into the clouds. Hosts had one more chance in 42 minute, but Troy Deeney didn't do header like he knows and Gazzaniga easily saved that attempt.

Second half started with big excitement because home side had 2 big chances. After great play on right side and passing near Tanganga they did cross inside the box, but final shoot from 5 m. went wide of goal. 3 minutes later another chance for Watford, but Hornet's attacker was distracted by Lo Celso and his 5m. shot went wide too. 53. minute Son avoided offside trap ran through right side in quick counter attack, cross high ball toward Ali whose header went above bar. Nigel Pearson was furious after this on his defenders. The biggest chance for home side was in 69. minute when Verthongen played with hand in attempt to block shot and referee pointed to the spot. Troy Deany took responsibility, but his half high shot on right side of goal was denied by Gazzaniga. That was superb penalty save by Argentinian goalkeeper!

Spurs were closest to goal in 91. minute when, after Aurires right side cross, Lamela's tackling shot was cleared off the line. You can't be closer to goal than this. Ball almost went over line, but few millimeters still on it. Watford defender was very quick in clearing.

You can't be closer than this from goal.

My personal opinion about this game beside that Tanganga can't play on left back is that Tottenham has to many prepotent players who probably think they are half Pele half Maradona and thus they should go alone into 4 opponent players trying to trick, dribble and pass near all of them with the ball. In reality they can't pass near 1 defender. Cooperation between players in sense of precise right time passes, help teammate in overcrowding one flank during attack were missing. While Son had ball in first half in attack on left side Tanganga just watched that from his position, leaving him to fight with 2 or more defenders. Lucas often ran into dribbling between 3 or 4 defenders all alone. Lamela did it too. Game could easily end up with more than 2 o 3 goals if strikers performed better. New Spurs signing got chance for playing near the end and showed that he'll be good add on to the squad.

What ownership of this club need to do is to either give Troy Parrot chance to play like striker or to buy new one (and not Llorente or Benteke!) who will play while H.Kane is absent. Watching Lucas like striker who is trying to get high ball between for 2 heads taller defenders is really painful.
