En el país anfitrión de la copa del mundo del 2022, Catar, aún mantiene conversaciones para su arranque pero se estima que sea para el 24 de Junio donde todo su sistema de ligas se reanude, la misma situación se encuentra la liga japonesa la cual es una de las ligas con más popularidad en todo el continente asiático en conjunto con la Súper Liga China donde ya tiene como 24 de junio fecha de arranque.

En Colombia el Ministerio de Deportes ordeno que hasta el 31 de Mayo no debe llevarse a cabo ningún encuentro deportivo en el país, aunque para este 8 de Junio está previsto la vuelta a los entrenamientos individuales, se estima que para finales de Junio regrese el balompié colombiano.
