The first day of the Twitch Rivals of Master Tactics (TFT) left 16 players qualified for the finals, which will be played today and will consist of two phases: a first with four rounds to discard in half and the grand final, in the that everything will be played to a single game.

Throughout the day yesterday the group A was played at first, in which the eight best -and therefore those who will be today- were Uthenera, superjj102, General_HS_, TidesOfTime, GN_GG, Wtcn, GoBGG and Amaz.

In this competition each game gave the players a prize based on their position, so the total won also served as points to determine the final classification. In this first group Uthenera got more than anyone with 2200 dollars and the cut was set by Amaz with 1800.

What was really interesting for the Spanish fans, however, came in the second group, since all the national participants entered the list. The popular storyteller Ibai Llanos, in addition, did it accompanied by two of the most outstanding players of TFT: AKAWonder and Jac0b0, both known for their facet as players of Hearthstone.

Precisely Ibai was the only Spaniard who could overcome the cut and with 1975 dollars was placed in the third position, only behind JoshGG (2050) and Becca (2000). The others classified were Ness, Scarra, Reckful, Digdog and nl_Kripp. Interestingly, the cut in this group was exactly the same as in the A: 1800.

As for the rest of Spaniards, the best classified was Envagelion, who finished in fifteenth position with $ 1550, 300 more than Revenant and CooLife Game (28th and 29th), while Alexelcapo finished bottom with 1150, the same as the American Trick2g.

Ibai, before some criticism about his participation with two coaches, explained in Mediavida that, although he wanted to give up the place because he felt bad for other players, he finally decided to take it because he was told that if he did not go he would not enter another Spanish instead .

"I wanted them to participate in the tournament and they offered me the possibility of being my coaches, I accepted, they also and the entire organization knew before I started," he assured. In addition, he recalled that all the money he wins in the tournament will be donated, so "the more, the better."
