The new Derby's manager Phillip Cocu declined to comment on the topic but however confirms that Rooney would fly to the Midlands for the purpose of discussing the details of the deal.

In the past, the 33-year-old ex-Manchester United and Everton forward, has disclosed his desire to go into management. He still has two years left with MLS club DC United.

Delby owner, Mel Morris, was said to firmly believe in the ability of Rooney to help get the club back into Premier League.

"At the moment I can't say anything," Cocu told Sky Sports after Derby beat Huddersfield Town 2-1 in their opening fixture of the new Championship campaign.

"Like I said before the game we are working on completing the team. It isn't complete yet. I cannot say anything about names before things are done.

"We have a lot of players we think could be an asset for the team. You always try to get the best you can with the resources at the club. A few more days then hopefully I can say something more."

I don't usually like to bring race into things unnecessarily. However it's weird that white players always seem to get these opportunities. Black players rarely, if ever get these positions.

Maybe it's because black players don't want to be managers?

It's very strange to me.

Hahahahah ah how can you say that? Who doesn't want money? Isn't so.

Well exactly! It has been said before that there is still deep seated racism at the top of the game, and that is why less black players get a chance to manage when they retire, or near retirement.

The proper add is www.sportstalksocial.com. You can also check out https://steem-engine.com/?p=market&t=SPORTS and see if you can buy some sports token and stake in order to boost your earnings. Whatever sports you earn or any other tribes token, can also be converted into steem within www.steem-engine.com.

Whatever I say isn't investment advice. Always do your own research. However, earning on Steemit has moved beyond blogging within Steemit interface. There are tens of steem based interfaces (tribes — https://steempeak.com/tribes) that you can earn their tokens and covert to steem or power up to earn more. Endless investment and earning opportunities exist there. I urge you to explore one and see how it can benefit you. The one I am particularly involved with is sportstalk platform.

The link here is the testimony of a Steemian who invested in some of these tribes and her earnings outcome so far: https://www.steemleo.com/utopian-io/@rosatravels/review-of-my-investments-in-these-6-nitrous-tribes-or-weed-pal-aaa-leo-ccc-rhb

Overall, there's endless earning opportunities on Steemit these days.

Overall, do trade carefully.

Thanks.
