Didier Drogba honoured with the post of Ballon D'or Ambassador

Chelsea legend, the indefatigable Didier Drogba, was on Thursday chosen as France Football's Ballon d'Or ambassador.

As ambassador, he would co-hist the award presentation ceremony which has been scheduled for December 2 in Paris. Again, he will have the privilege to present the trophy at the event.

“I feel honoured to present this prestigious award. I see it as an acknowledgement of my career and its exemplarity,” Drogba said in a statement .
