While he did retire from the sport after the loss to Kabib, that has never been a guarantee for any fighter to not come back and fight again. It was widely expected that he would be back at some stage for a rematch and another run at the title.

With that said it might be hard to find the motivation to get back into shape for another brutal fight against a top opponent when he already has his money made. Not only that but it seems as if he is really falling into the wrong life now that he is not in training.

McGregor grew up in a tough area where a lot of the children he came up with are involved with drugs and gangs. He is still friends with a lot of these people and has been spotted out with them lots of times. With the amount of money he now has, his choices are endless and he can go whatever direction he wants to now.

I don't know if everybody has seen it but footage emerged from earlier in the year of Conor assaulting an elderly man in a pub in Dublin. Just another unacceptable action from the former fighter and a disgraceful one as he hit the elderly person from behind. It could end up with him in court once again now that the footage is online.

GARDAÍ HAVE CONFIRMED that they are still investigating an assault at a Dublin pub after CCTV of the alleged incident, purporting to show Conor McGregor’s involvement.

Even Dana White is getting sick of him at this stage as the publicity is all bad right now. Especially among the Irish who used to look at Conor as person who worked hard to rise to the top but is now showing that he is only a scumbag at heart and now that he has made the money is free to act like he always intended.

I used to be a big fan when he started as he showcased the best aspects of the Irish with a hard working attitude and an ability to be cheeky and quick off the mark. He started to how his true colours by the time he went boxing and his banter descended into petty name calling and insults. It was the beginning of the end for Conor when he lost the focus on everything that had served him well up to that point.

Will we see him fight again???

Hard to know but we won't ever see him get to the top again even if he does.
