The best ideas sometimes do not succeed simply because they aren't executed appropriately, or even at all for that matter.

I am lucky to have a hobby that gives me a feeling of control and balance even when they aren't necessarily so. Luckily it is something that we have to act out and endure before the reward comes which makes it all the more satisfying.

Putting in the work towards the achievement of our goals is no mean feat. I can instantly recall more than a handful of times I have let a goal fail due to procrastination and laziness. A lot of us have strong wills and creative urges but fail at the sight of this litmus test.

There is one thing running has taught me though, that is we have an unprecedented capacity to surmount and challenge if we really want it. Constantly putting in the effort also makes it more bearable in the long run. Like running, like many aspects of life I guess.

Today's run is in continuation of the Run for the Oceans challenge hosted by Adidas. It is my third entry into the challenge and I have now covered more than 40km of my initial 50km target. Tomorrow will be my last run for the challenge, so am hoping to surprise myself by going all out.

Our health remains our biggest and wisest investment.

That's a strong determination you are putting in, I hardly go for a run and if I do 3km max is fine for me. I'd rate play soccer than run 😃

lol to be frank I've been running for about 8 years now. It gets easier with time and a little consistency

Oh very cool is Run for the Oceans a fundraiser? I have a friend who does a lot of fundraiser things on her bicycle.

Sort of....Adidas and Parley [according to them] clean up 10 plastic bottles or its equivalent for every km covered during the challenge
