I actually did beat my PB Guys

I had talked about doing a time trail 10k where I intended to best my previously recorded fastest 10k time of 55.26Sec.

The nature of the race though made me hold back with the results. It was quite dramatic though, as I set out to go sub 55 for what I believed was the first time.

At the 50minute mark I had done about 9.01km and knew the feat was in sight. Literally racing against the clock, I upped my pace and kept glancing at my phone to with each passing minute.

I ticked stop at the 10km mark in 54.59 seconds. That wasn't the most interesting part though, turns out that I did run sub 55 for 10k during a 12k run last year, prior to my injury.

Well it's still my fastest deliberately run 10k and am super proud of it.

Many congratulations, super effort, I think I did the same once and beat my 10k PB during a half marathon.

Racing makes you go faster, and feel fine with it. You do tend to feel it the next day or two!

You need to stake more BEER (24 staked BEER allows you to call BEER one time per day)

That's a very nice achievement anyway. Sometimes you can be faster than you think you are.
