Fantasy Football Week 12 Results

It wasn't a good weekend for @mrsbozz and I when it came to our fantasy football teams. As you can see, my team just fell short of getting a win. I place the blame solely on my quarterback as you will see in just a second.

Here is the breakdown:

I guess I should have known better that Prescott was going to have a hard time playing against the Patriots Defense. Add to that the fact that it was practically pouring the whole game and you have the disaster that was the Cowboys vs. Patriots game.

I can't remember the last time I have had a QB that scored so few points. It was absolutely abysmal. For the most part, I can't really complain about the rest of my team. Brown put up some average numbers at WR, while Gallup pretty much sucked because Prescott sucked.

Metcalf could have scored me some more points, but I don't really expect much from most of my wide receivers anymore. I think all of the good ones are pretty much taken by all the other teams.

Bell was my workhorse running back with 10 or so points while Carson was a bit of a letdown this week. I picked up an extra tight end this week because Kittle was questionable. I am glad I make the decision to play Kittle at the last minute. It ended up being the different between a ten point loss and a 26 point loss.

Ridley did fantastic as my flex wide receiver. I will definitely have to consider keeping him in that position. I also picked up the Steelers defense and they didn't let me down. It will be a touch choice to play them or Minnesota next week.

As you can see, my bench wouldn't have helped me at all. There isn't a single player that scored higher than any of the players I started.

The loss this week moves @mrsbozz down into second place with a record tying her oldest brother. My loss moves me back into seventh place tied with my oldest brother in law.

It is pretty doubtful I will make it to the playoffs at this point. @mrsbozz still has a chance and I am hoping she can pull it together and finish strong.
