JIMMY BUCKET BRINGS TROUBLE
What a flip of the wrist by the Heat. They were sensational as one man show. Straight out of South Beach, Jimmy Butler made sure they get a win. Sweep is no longer part of this year finals. Watching the game, Lakers were not the same team from the first two game. You can see a flash of their greatness but it evaporated quick.
Anthony Davis took an off night by scoring 15 points. No excuses but he was in foul trouble, unable to impose in the match. Lebron played high 30+ minutes to a losing cause. It feels they want the win but just AD playing poor could be the culprit. It is the Finals and you have to play your best all around.
Jimmy Butler is reluctant and tenacious. He is doing anything and everything to get the W. No Bam and Dragic, he is the leader to get it done. He got a triple tonight and Heat is in the series. His effort elevated the whole team. Miami should not win this game. Their energy made happen for them.
Tyler, Iguadola, Olynyk and many more like Robinson stick to the plan for this win. Iguadola was more efficient in the defensive end. He can score but his presence gives the Heat an edge in the Finals. Even though the basket cannot fall through but they kept shooting it and scoring 115 points is Heat ceiling.
Is everything done for Lakers? Tuesday will be the answer to this question. Anthony Davis will always be double team. They have to score better from three pointers. LeBron will play the same. The keys players will do their work and we could see a better performance by Lakers.
Heat senses trouble. If they can win Sunday, why not Tuesday. I am not sure Jimmy can play like that again, scoring 40 points in 44 minutes. He will need to reboots quick cause he is way tired right now. Miami is in the Finals for a reason, so we are going to make it count. Otherwise it is done by Friday.
When you get hit in the mouth, you get up and play like you want it more.
The win today is a clear statement that Heat needs to play way better defense and force Lakers turnovers. James lost the ball so many times throughout the game. I think Lakers need to score more in the paint after a lead, settle for jump shot. Zone defense by Miami work by cramping the paint.
One cool thing about playing in the Finals or playoffs time. It is basically they are playing for free. Regular season this is where they earn the big bucks. You need playoffs experience or Finals to be able to ask for a raise. This is why they play harder and this is make it or break it moment.
Last year the pool for all teams in the playoffs were 20 million where the Champions took a sizable portion cause they are the winner. I am talking about Toronto Raptors. Again the reality is the length of time the playoffs lasts and their check could be easily around $180k+.
This year there is a player that could get more. He played for the Heat at the beginning of the season and now he is with Lakers. Deion Sanders could be the lucky guy. One more thing, he will be awarded a ring whatever team wins as well. Lucky dude.
Tuesday match will be worth watching cause Lakers win , one more game to go. Heat wins, more trouble down the line.
