BIG TEAMS AND THEIR LOSSES

It was a great weekend for some teams, while some are still struggling to get back into the game. Manchester City performed awesomely with an 8 - 0 win against Watford. Their loss against Norwich city might have triggered that, but we didn't expect that outcome. It was too much for a team like Watford. However, some big teams haven't gotten that inspiration they always have. Are the average teams getting better or the bigger teams are now relentless? That's a question I've been trying to answer. Atletico Madrid couldn't defeat Celta Vigo and they were at home. Tottenham lost to Leicester City - I'm not sure if they qualify to be called a big team, but they were expected to get at least a draw from the match.

Anyway, three teams brought me here and they all lost. Chelsea played against Liverpool, a bigger team, but the painful part is - it was played at Stanford Bridge. They haven't won any match on their pitch and they were hoping Liverpool would be their first win, but it turned out otherwise. After conceding two goals in the first half, their spark came alive after Kante scored in the late minutes of the second half. We can justify their loss though. They simply lost to a bigger team.

Barcelona on the other hand haven't won an away match. A lot of people expected them to defeat Granada since most of their injured players are back; Messi and Suarez inclusive. But even with the presence of both players, they still got a shocking defeat. 2 - 0 was too heavy of them and they hope to regain the chants and inspiration from the fans. Their next match will be against Villarreal; let's see what they will bring to the table.

Manchester United lost again and it's becoming too tiring to their fans. We are not sure if the coach or the players is the problem, but one thing is sure; something isn't right. They struggled to defeat Leicester City and Astana last week and lost to West Ham.

Which other team dissapointed you last week? Let me know in the comment section below. As for me, Barcelona dissapointed me again and I hope they recover against Villarreal tomorrow.
