There was no surprise this week. Well, some might have expected Real Madrid to defeat Club Brugge but I was expecting a draw. Many big teams won except the ones that played an away match. I guess Napoli was the only team in that shoe that lost. The tournament is getting more and more interesting and there isn't a favorite to win like the previous competitions.

The defending champions, Liverpool might be considered for the title, but Salzburg almost returned a 3 - 0 lead against them yesterday making us doubt how effective they will be. Salah's goal made the difference, but we can't forget the brilliant performance from their opponents. They deserved an applaud. Bayern Munich is the team of the week. Their 7 - 2 win against Tottenham was a big slap on the face of Spurs and the fact that it happened in their stadium made it very embarrassing.

Barcelona came back from a 1 - 0 lead against Inter Millan and William's late strike gave Chelsea the three points they needed. Juventus and Atletico Madrid did well, too. They both won after a draw between them in the first match of the champions league group stage.
