After 30 Years, Is This Liverpool's Time?

As far as results can predict the future it appears that Liverpool will, after thirty years of being champions for the last time, be this year's English Premier League champion. It will be the first time Liverpool wins the EPL in its current format, so this is something that has been waited for by all Liverpool fans for a long time.

Liverpool during these years has had some quite good seasons but the title has always eluded them, especially last year when they were relegated to second place by just one point by Manchester City having made 97 points. This time around Liverpool are clear of second place Manchester City by 16 points and one game pending.

As things stand MC can get to 93 points winning all their remaining games, Liverpool have at the moment 67 points so in fact Liverpool have to win 27 points out of a possible 45 to be champions, 9 games out of 15.

Things really look good for Liverpool, first of all I doubt City can make all 42 points they have in front of them and I really think it is unlikely that Liverpool can't win 9 more games out of 15. Of course I have seen weirder things in football but this time I think it is Liverpool's year.

They are playing great football, they are motivated, they have a great push from their fan base and this one is the most important, they have something that I don't know what it is, perhaps luck, but they are winning games in the last minutes when it seems hardly likely that they will and also their defense has been great lately.

With all of these factors in mind I think I will at last get to see Liverpool win an English title, I have always been a Liverpool fan but the last time they were champions we barely had cable TV around here and it wasn't showing any English football.
