After being down for an Achilles injury, Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheeks has given an update that is all positive.
He sustained the injury during a play with New England Revolution and has since been working to get back to action as soon as possible for the Blues.
While speaking with Versus, he dropped some really good words.
"It's going well!"
"It's been a long time and I've had a few setbacks as well. It's never been just a straight path but I'm close now… I've been running and moving, I feel I'm right on the edge. I'm close and I can't wait."
Although he is yet to make an appearance under new manager Lampard, he was having a positive season for Chelsea before picking up the injury at the end of the season, which caused him to miss the Europa League final against Arsenal.

My Thoughts.

Injuries are inevitable in the life of a sports man and many end up walking away from the game due to these injuries.
It is a good thing to see him getting better and giving all these positive vibes and hopefully he comes back stronger and better.
I think Chelsea is in need of his services and it will be cool if he can come back better and add some good value to play.

Do you think he can make Lampard happy?
Do you think he is really getting better fast as he claimed?
Where do you see Chelsea on the ranking this season under Lampard?
