Osimhen returns after nasty head knock at Atalanta

Napoli forward Victor Osimhen who suffered a nasty head knock in the Serie A game against Atalanta on Sunday has returned to the team after been cleared.

Osimhen who hit his head on the turf after a challenge from Cristian Romero in 4-2 loss on Sunday was rushed to the Bergamo’s Papa Giovanni Hospital after he lost consciousness.

The 22 year old forward spent Sunday night at the medical facility and was put under close observation till he was finally cleared on Monday after several test was conducted on him which proved negative.

The Nigerian International has been faced with series of health related problem in recent times, as he was in November down with a shoulder injury during international duties then in January 2021 he was found to have contracted COVID-19.

Osimhen will now be looking to get back in shape and feature more for Napoli after several days out due suspension and several health issues.
