It was Ansu Fati who put Intermilan's hope to reach the knockout stage to an end after scoring a long, outside goal on the 85th minute that made Barcelona win and advance. Though regardless of the results, Barcelona is assured to be on top of the group F meaning the match is not important.

In order for Intermilan to advance, they need to secure a win against Barcelona. Since Borussia Dortmund won their last match, they need a win to tie the scoreline 10 points. Since Intermilan is leading by goal difference, they should be the once advancing.

But Carlos Perez early goal and the late goal of Ansu Fati made Inter mourn at home. The crowd was silent after Fati's goal, they've understood that this is the last game of their Champions League campaign. In group F, it will be FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund advancing.

Though a very strong team in Italy domestic league - Serie A, they've been struggling to get wins in the UEFA CL standings.
