I think it would be smart for them to enter into some kind of partnership with NASCAR. Even the Indy car circuit. If you can bring in names that are familiar to the people over here then maybe you can get them to start following the people they have no clue about. Then the sport in general. Some kind of NASCAR/Formula crossover even would be really cool I think.

The problem is you can't have a crossover and race both. I think once the Indy car drivers qualify for the Formula One Super licence they or some will try and move over. The way the Formula One Season is set up there are few opportunities for drivers to do more than one type of racing. The Formula One Fans are not really Indy car fans either as it is a bit repetitive and less interesting going around an oval track. I have tried to watch it and fall asleep and think it is terrible.
