My Actifit Report Card: February 13 2020

It is sort of ironic thst there would be a "getinshape" drive here on Actifit. I have been in the USA attempting to earn enough money to return to my family in the Philippines, get some urgent dental work done on my own mouth (to be done at the lower prices available in the Philippines). Also on the top of the list, funds to adopt out 6 year old boy, whom we had in our home since he was 15 months old and we love like our own flesh and blood.

I have not yet been 100% successful and I miss my family terribly.

So i heard there was a job fair while listening to radio. Out of curiousity, I went and was offered a job as a corrections officer in a high security prison for mostly hardened criminals.
Now for the ironic part. The first few months they put you through a "getinshape" boot camp. Running, and many other exercises. Plus automatic weapons, shotgun, handgun, pepper spray and defense training.
In other words, they intend to whip this ole boy into shape.
I am not sure if I will be able to carry my phone or wear a fitbit watch to record the steps.
Praying about this decision. I am sad to think of even more time away from my loved ones.
