Can you believe it?!

Another week has passed for us... It's Friday today, another weekend.

Well, I am actually posting my progress as of Thursday - thanks to @actifit's awesome update whereby we can now post the previous day's report. I really appreciate this update since I am already so worn out at night and cannot share my report before midnight.

Hubby @kennyroy and I started early for it was a working day and we needed to be back home by 7am to prep for work. We jogged around our neighborhood at first until I told home it was way better to go to the Umm Al Emarat (Mushrif) Park.

And check out this snap of yet another fantastic sunrise!

The Initiative

Always on top of his game, @wil.metcalfe has started this #highfive initiative to CELEBRATE OUR STEPS while encouraging more engagement on the platform. So for quite sometime now, each Friday, he gives out some positive vibes and digital #highfive's to actifitters here. In turn, those who chime in and high-five back gets a chance to get to win 5steem prize. The initiative has since evolved and became a week-long chance for actifitters to interact. Besides, why wait for "Friday" when we can high-five everyday?!

Paying it Forward

I have been lucky and blessed to get rewarded just for the simple act of sending highfives to you guys. So why not, share the love as well?!

The Steem blockchain and the actifit project are really close to my heart. ❤️ And like you, I also believe that "community" is what's making them really special. Once, when steem and sbd were on their highs there were lots of active steemians here in Abu Dhabi that we have meet ups from time to time. Sad to say the drop in the values had big impact and they chose to "leave"... That said, I am still here, though not as active as the past two years when I can't let a day pass without a post, because I have a part of my heart here already. ♥️❤️

Having a established core of people who see the true potential of the Steem Blockchain (through thick and thin) is what we all really need in this space.

I have actually been excited to watch the crashing prices on all the crypto markets because it was only then that it was possible to know which crypto projects had real communities around them. Real value flows towards the projects that allow us to all human in ways that matter... that's where true value flows in this emerging crypto space.

Steem has utility value and I, like you, believe that the @actifit project is one of the bright shining stars here on the Steem Blockchain!

I am working activily towards a future where people will again connect in the bricks and morter and not just the clicks and orders. Eventually I plan to do pop up #HighFive's (Under an actual #HighFive Flag!) and official meet-ups. So that's something I'm looking forward to!

Lot's of people came and left this space. They were thinking short term and gave up... But they forgot that the Steem Blockchain isn't just about what the current fiate price is... It's about all of us and what we can achieve together!

And here's the thing... Those of us left behind... We will not give up on those who came and left! What get's used bets valued in the technology world. This social media tool works even at the low low prices... and it's only a matter of time.

They will eventually be back...

But for those of us who stuck it through... We will all remember who stood shoulder to shoulder with us.
