Celtic FC win the Scottish League 2019-2020

Finally Celtic FC was named the Scottish League champions in 2019-2020 after the SPFL decided to cancel the season.

At the end of last week 12 Scottish League clubs 2019-2020 agreed not to continue the competition because it was considered impossible.

The decision was finally approved by the Scottish Football Association (SPFL) today, Monday, May 18, 2020.

To determine the final standings of the season, the SPFL chose to use the average points per game of each club

As a result, Celtic came out as the team that topped the final standings after reaching 2.6 points per match.

Denan so, SPFL was immediately named Celtic as champions of the Scottish League 2019-2020.

The point average system is also used to determine which clubs should go down the following season
