Weston McKennie New Juventus player

New Juventus player who will be in action in the Italian League for the 2020-2021 season, Weston McKennie, is very happy after becoming the first American player to wear a Bianconeri uniform. Juventus just inaugurated McKennie as their new player. The 22-year-old midfielder was brought by Juventus from Schalke 04 with a temporary acquisition status until June 30, 2021. The two clubs reached an agreement at 4.5 million euros, equivalent to Rp 78 billion.

If McKennie can reach the target set, Juventus has an obligation to redeem it permanently for 18.5 million euros (Rp 323 billion). McKennie is the first young man from the United States to shop for Juventus. When asked if he was included in the club's history books as the first United States player, McKennie said he was very proud.

McKennie was a player from the FC Dallas academy in the United States before finally being recruited by Schalke 04 to study in their youth team in 2016. He only made his senior team debut on May 20, 2017, when Schalke met FC Ingolstadt in the last weekend of the Bundesliga. In the 2017-2018 season, McKennie was promoted to the Schalke 04 first team. So far, McKennie has appeared in 91 matches for the Schalke senior team and scored five goals and seven assists in all competitions. Weston McKennie has also made his debut with the United States national team.

McKennie's debut was engraved when the United States met Portugal in a friendly match. At that time, he scored one goal with a right footed shot.
