MAESTRO MODRIC SEND CROATIA INTO THE SIXTH CONSECUTIVE EUROPEAN KNOCKOUT STAGE
Croatia secured their path into the last knockout stages of Euro 2020 as a runner up after a 3-1 victory over Scotland side.
Goals from Nicolas Vlasic and Ivan Perisic guarantee Croatia a place in the knock out stage for six consecutive time after their independence.
Scotland match the expectation of the 12,000 fan in the Hampton Park in the first minute of the match with barrage of corners but it was Croatia who took the lead at the 17th minute with goal from Nicolas Vlasic assisted by Ivan Perisic. Scotland proved so confidence in the first half as well by getting a goal four minute to the end of HT.
Just few minutes after the half time the Croatian captain got an astonishing goal through a stunning strike to gain their lead before Ivan Perisic wrapped off the game with a glancing header from the former Ballon D'or winner's corner.
What a stunner it was from the real Madrid midfielder. Great win from Croatia. I expected them to claim maximum points on the night and they didn't disappoint
