Good morning to one and all , this post is about the first ODI between WI and BAN .

Final Result - BAN won the match with 6 wickets left.

Let us take a look at how players performed -

WI Batting Performance

A very sad state of performance here . No half centuries , multiple duck outs , totally a collapse of batting order .

If we look at the Strike rate of batsmen -

All the strike rates have been less than 100 except for Amber but from the first chart we can see that he hasn't scored even 10 runs.

Whopping 63% scored less than 10 runs and obviously no one above 50 .

Bangladesh bowling performance

All the bowlers except Hossain took wickets . Al Hassan tops the wicket taking list .

Although overall less runs were given if we take a look at who gave more runs - Hasan Mahmood leads the list . Al Hasan has been impressive here too with least amount of runs given .

Economy of all the bowlers have remained less than 6 runs which is the reason for restricting WI to just 122 runs .

Bangladesh batting

Although we cannot see any half centuries , couple of 19s score and one 44 was enough for BAN to reach the target.

Strike rate has remained well below 100 for all the players which tells us that they took it slow and easy to reach the target.

One major difference between WI and BAN runs pie chart is the dominance of 10-50 runs in BAN batting which helped them win the match .

WI bowling performance

Sums up the WI bowling performance , only two wicket takers .

Holder and Hosein have equally contributed here and McCarthy has given the least runs.

Although the economy of all the bowlers is less than 6 except Holder who performed poorly WI failed to stop BAN to win the match .
