Good morning to everyone , this post will be about the SA batting innings against Pakistan in the first test .

Venue - National Stadium , Karachi .

Runs scored -

Only one above 50 runs . 2 ducks but we can ignore that because they are of tailenders .
Lot of medium scores - let us take a look at proportion.

This makes it very clear that a lot of 10-50 runs ( 63.6% ) but none of them except Elgar could convert to something big .

SA innings was over very quick to be honest, maybe they could have taken it easy - let's take a look at the strike rate -

Once again Elgar leads the chart and others haven't done badly because 50 SR is ideal in test matches.

Pakistan Bowling Performance

As you can see here , 4 out of 5 bowlers took wickets with Shah leading the chart but if you add the number of wickets it will give you 8 wickets which means there have been 2 run outs . Run outs in test matches isn't acceptable .

Runs given proportion -

3 is the ideal economy for bowlers in test , 3 out of 5 have kept their economy low which helped PAK restrict SA to just 220 .
