Leeds United, Liverpool and the Draw
Hello dear sports fellows, i am here again to talk about the game between Leeds United and Liverpool at Elland Road this evening. The referee of the match was Anthony Taylor who tried his best in doing what he knows how to do best by putting his effort in seeing that the Leeds United and Liverpool had a fare play.
It is a shocking moment to both fans of the Leeds United and Liverpool as the all predicted that their team will win on tonight's game. To none fans, many predicted draws. I am not surprise as the game turn out draw. It is all about the effort of both team, now i know that Leeds United and Liverpool can strike a draw game or one could win with as low goal aggregate of one (1) since tonight performance has proven so.
The game started at first in favour of the Liverpool team where they had their runs on the field till the moment Sadio Mane scored the opening goal of the match. I there was great celebration among the Liverpool fans everywhere because they were still at the top of the match. To really prove they lead the game at first, Stuart Dalias the Leeds United Fans got a yellow card in the process of trying to fight back to help the team equalize.
The game started being hot and interesting again after a goal from Sadio which was an eye opener to the Leeds player. the game started getting hotter for the Liverpool plays as the Leeds pushed forward in quest to equalize the game and stand a chance to win the match but to no avail as Ezgjan Alioski got a second yellow card for the Leeds team. Not long ago, Roberto Firmino committed on the pitch and he was awarded with a yellow card as well. the referee tried his best to maintaining a calm and mature play between the team which was a nice thing one would learn from for real life scenario management.
After the a short while, the Humiliating season of the Leeds United was brought to and end and that was where the first half ended.
On the second half move, the both team started playing with cautions to avoid cards guess what i observed, the game started interesting me and guess what happened, Firmino had another chance to make the goal two but Meslier was ready to safe the ball from entering the post. it was a deep disappointment to the fans as it didn't click as the thought.
After all the runs and shots on the goal post, finally, a green opportunity opened for the Leeds United few minuets to end the match as the Leeds had a corner which was pulled by Harrison Llorente Jumped higher in the box and give a heading push and the ball was right inside the net. hahahahaha. this was so funny and a big celebration for the Leeds United team and fans but a big frustration to the Liverpools' and not long, the game was brought to and end and the match ended Leeds United 1:1 Liverpool.
It was designed already the game will be draw as i commented on @amr008 post. I didn't know why i felt it will be draw though its a sad note to Liverpool to loose in the place of their victory.
