Welcome to Arsenal Willian Borges, I think you're going to like it here. We're a tad bit emotional over here and sentiments are a major factor in our decisions, unlike the rent boys you're coming from. It's all London anyways, so I don't think you'd be adjusting to a new culture.

In the interview, Willian talked openly about the reason he decided to move to Arsenal and it was really lovely to hear. Yeah he dropped the usual cliche shit; you know, "I'm glad to be here", Arsenal is a big club, blah blah blah but what stood out to me was the fact that he said he spoke with the manager extensively.

There's a section of the fanbase that are somewhat apprehensive about the transfer but personally, I'm just glad we have extra bodies in midfield. Extra point that he's a seasoned campaigner in the Premier League that will hopefully pass on that wisdom to our younger options in the squad.

How I see it, we have so many talented youngsters coming up, and so having someone like the Brazillian midfielder who can feature on either flank, as well as in the hole behind the striker is going to be awesome for us.

It is more of a short term signing that we will milk the most off by using his experience in our favour. In the next two-three years when his contract with the team comes to an end, players like Reis Nelson, Willock and Emile-smith Rowe would have enough in their locker to come to the fore. His signing will also put some welcomed pressure on Nicolas Pepe and Lacazette, if the latter stays. Fingers crossed for the coming season and hoping for more good news in the transfer window.
