Ayuda a tu cerebro.

Good morning fellows, I hope you are well and have stretched 10 minutes after waking up to improve your life. Today I come to talk about a topic somewhat forgotten by the athlete in general, but without this tool many of our scientific advances in the information of the body would have been null. Without further ado, let's begin.

Rope is a simple, fits in your pants pocket, inexpensive tool that easily helps improve your cardiovascular levels, burns stubborn fat and gets your muscles toned while you use it. It goes without saying that if you are an athlete, you should have a rope in your inventory. An exercise as simple but as effective as a glass of water after a marathon. The American Heart Association takes it as a crucial component of physical fitness. They suggest that jumping rope is one of the most complete exercises for a full body routine, as it utilizes almost 58% of the body's muscles when in action.

Not much is known about its history in general. Many say that it was created by the Egyptians and that some time later it arrived with the colonists to American lands. They were generally worn by women, but the problem was their voluminous dresses which got tangled with the rope. In 1950 it became so popular in many countries, so much so that you could easily see in every street children playing with the rope, between groups and groups of children playing, they created a unique and attractive style for everyone which consists of playing with two ropes at the same time, often in opposite directions.

Its benefits.
For the athlete it is important not only for its physical benefits, but also for its coordination. Athletes are generally instructed to do sports that need high coordination, moving from one side to the other, constantly changing places and speed to flow on the field. It makes the brain work fully in each hemisphere to achieve an effective execution. It should be noted that being a compound aerobic exercise, it makes the same effect of running 1.5km in 8 minutes session, in an hour of regulated intensity can easily get to burn 1300 calories.
Less wrist and ankle injuries.

When you master the art of the rope you will notice that you are lighter on your feet, this is because jumping rope increases your bone density in the bones and therefore also makes them stronger. Injuries to wrists and ankles are the worst injuries I could have, my recovery on both occasions were with the jump rope, as this exercise is aimed at the calves, knees and ankle joints, as well as the wrists to make the execution.
Help your brain.

As I said before, this exercise helps a lot to the coordination of the brain hemispheres. It helps with memory, reading, writing and better spatial awareness (knowing exactly where you are).
Larger influences.
The biggest influences on the string were mostly boxers such as:

The rope was, is, and will be one of the most powerful tools for training. Learn by feeling, seeing and improving every day. Jumping rope can be stressful and quite difficult at first, but when you gain confidence and discipline it will show you how tiring and effective it can be. Without further ado, I bid you farewell.
