Arsenal F.C of England took their UEFA Europa league goal tally to 20 in just six matches with their victory over Dundalk on week 6 six of the Europa League.

That is double the goals they have scored in 11 premier league matches of the 20/21 season. Arsenal is the only side to have a 100% record in the group stage, with some of the goals coming from youngsters like Balogun, Nketiah, Willock, and others.

Their record in the premier league this season has been poor, they have been finding it hard to score in games, and when they score they tend to concede more. Statistics from Tottenham’s games showed the gunners whooped in a total of 44 crosses without scoring any goal, which is very unlike Arsenal who have been known to play and create chances through the middle.

Some have made excuses for their poor form in the league by saying “The teams they face in Europe are unfamiliar and also lack the in-depth and stealth of a typical English team”.

I think it is high time the youngsters played in the Europa League are given the opportunity to express themselves.
