THE SELFLESS FOOTBALLER

Most footballers are well known for their flamboyant lifestyles , ranging from their outlooks to their cars, their houses, their activities on and off the pitch (going to parties and all sorts) it's a welcome development in the football World and it's also very common among the African players . We wouldn't begin to go into details and calling names (of course we know them all ) .
But again, there's this set of footballers who do not fancy those kind of lifestyles, who prefer to always be on the low , they do not want to be blown by the media they are always to themselves. These set of people also exist in the football World , not that they are not financially stable (like the others ) , but that they prefer using the money spent on excessive lifestyles to doing something better for themselves and the society they find themselves. We are also not going into details like the former ...but we are just going to talk about one of these group of people , A player whose patriotic lifestyle has helped a whole lot of people in his community .
This player is none other than the former Liverpool striker SADIO MANÉ !!.

This player, no doubt has really lived ,and is still living a life worthy of emulation
and of course deserves to be written about
The Senegalese international ,who is worth over 5million GBP, actually one of the best footballers in Africa and the world at large, has many credits to his name.
he has won a lot of trophies and individual titles for himself, both for club and also for his country ,and we are sure that he'll keep winning more in the coming seasons. though that's not what I want to talk about . but before i jump into the main discussion I'll like to tell us about the background of this great footballer
SADIO MANÉ

Sadio mané was born on the 10th of April 1992 into the family of Satou toure in Sedhiou, Senegal ( so incase you are wondering about his age you can do the calculations). he grew up in a village called bambali located at the southern part of Senegal. He lived with his uncle because, according to him ,his parents were not able to take him to school, they had too many children and therefore were not able to Carter for them all. He always had the opportunity to go play football with his friends ,that was how he started nursing the feeling of being a footballer .
the world cup of 2002 (where his country reached up to the quarter finals in their first appearance in the platform )gave mané an inspiration to strive to become a footballer,he told his parents and uncle about it and as usual they turned down the proposal. they were religious people and therefore wanted something different from him . But despite the refusal from his people , he never relented because according to him " In his head and heart there was only football " he was able to convince them into selling almost all they had to help him pursue his career. his talent was so obvious that even people aside the family opted to help him pursue his career.
His top flight began when ,after the disgrace and later on progress made at a local team he played in Dakar's suburbs where he scored a total of 131 goals in 90 appearances for just 2 seasons, he luckily was spotted by a France scout on a mission to Senegal , these people immediately discovered the brightness in the young lad and picked him. He also proved himself at a Senegalese football club called "Generation foot" by the France scouts where he was given a two- season trial . after exceeding the expectations of these french scouts mané was flown to France and made to join the french club "Metz" where he began playing professional football at the age of 15. he made huge success there, and from there got transferred to Red Bull Salzburg where he scored a total of 42 goals In 80 appearances for the club . and this earned him an attention by his dream league (the premier league). after two seasons in Southampton he was transferred to Liverpool where he has played since 2016 till date and is currently set to go to Bayern Munich next season......

PHILANTHROPISM
WOW!! Little wonder why he's not used to living a luxurious life , judging from what we just read , we discover that mané was raised from a humble home ,and the money he's gotten didn't get the better of him rather it made him appreciative.
he doesn't have too many cars, private jets, yatch, not even a good handset (like other footballers do) but yet he uses his money to develop his hometown , there are many structures which he had single handedly raised in his community , many people he had helped which were not carried by the media , just a few
in 2019, Mané donated a huge sum of £250,000 to build a school in his home town Bambali,Senegal , and also in 2021 he donated another huge sum of £500,000 for the construction of a hospital in Bambali .
Such a humble life exhibited a very popular and wealthy player as sadio mané is to be emulated , did you know that sadio mané has no tatoo , and is currently single and according to him in an interview he would like his wife to be someone as humble as himself , who would not be a media person

What a legend. I think it's a fantastic buy for Bayern Munich with the example he provides on and off the pitch
