Bozzlife: Fantasty Football Covid Style

Well, here we are. Fantasy Football season again. It is definitely going to be a very interesting year for fantasy team owners. In the past Byes and Injury were the two biggest nemesis outside of your weekly opponent.

This year we are going to have to deal with some players outright refusing to play and others being put on a fourteen day hiatus if they happen to have a brush with Covid. I have a feeling it is going to be a full time job keeping a fully functional team on the rosters.

The draft for our league was supposed to happen at noon yesterday. Unfortunately, due to some technical issues on my end (I didn't tick the box saying we were ready), it didn't happen until late last night.

I am still trying to process everything that is going on with my roster.

I have to say, at first glance I am less than impressed.

In the past I have done the whole "pre-draft ranking" thing to try and snag some of the better players who I recognized. I decided to skip that this year. I have been super busy, so I haven't even been paying attention to who got cut, who decided not to play, and who retired. I figured it would be better to just let the system decide. My luck, I would pick someone who got injured playing golf over the summer and is out most of the season.

I am not super happy about my quarterback. I had Prescott in a previous season and he does have the potential for some big games however, I don't feel he is consistent enough to be worthwhile. I will give him the benefit of the doubt, but if I don't see results soon, he won't be on my roster for very long.

Time will tell on the rest of my players.

What do you think about the lineup I have? Any stinkers that you think I should drop right away?
