NCAA Men's Basketball Top 25 Recap 2/11/2020

Not a whole lot of action last night in terms of top 25 teams playing. The TCU/Texas Tech game wasn't anywhere near as close as I thought it was going to be. The Duke game was pretty good though. Being in the number one sport, Baylor might have had the lowest scoring game of their whole season last night.

In other news, Michigan State who was once sitting in the number 1 sport has been bounced out of the top 25 after their three game losing streak. I will still continue to cover them because they are my team after all. I don't think we have seen the last of them in the top 25 either.

There is still a lot of basketball to be played between now and March and the conference tournament will play a big part in who ends up in the round of 64.

Tonight we have seven top 25 games happening and three of those seven games are all happening in the Big 10 conference.

I will be watching as much of the Michigan State/Illinois game as I can. With a 9:00 start time, I probably won't be able to catch much of it before I fall asleep though. The Penn State/Purdue game could be a must watch game. Especially since the Boilermakers are at home. Even though they are not ranked, they always play really well at home. It should be a tough contest for Penn State.

The Kentucky/Vanderbilt game could have an interesting outcome as well. It will just depend on which team wants it more. The Wildcats have proven they have some flaws and if the Commodores can take advantage of those along with being the home team, they might have a shot.

Hopefully the Spartans snap their losing streak and get a much needed away win at Illinois tonight. It could be a really close game though.
