The young player Anwar Ali, who has represented India at the international level, challenged the All India Football Federation (AIFF) decision in the High Court on Thursday preventing him from practicing due to a serious heart ailment. Ali's lawyer told Judge Naveen Chawla that he is from a very poor family and if he is not allowed to participate in the practice, the 20-year-old player will not be able to play nor earn.

Ali said that he has represented the country internationally in the Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 and he was also a part of the Indian team in the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in which he served as the main centerback in all matches Played.

Ali's lawyers Amitabh Tiwari and Abhimanyu Tiwari said that on September 7, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) wrote a letter to the Mohammedan Sporting Club of Kolkata instructing that Ali should not be allowed to practice with the team, which is fundamental to earning their livelihood. Violation of authority.

This player has been found to be suffering from heart related disease 'apesial hypercardio myopathy'. AIFF counsel Prematosh Mishra said that there is no doubt that Ali was a great player and he has played for the country and they were in a difficult position as his life risk would increase if he allowed him to play.

He said that Ali was seen by various doctors and after the advice of expert doctors, an idea was made to not allow him to play but the investigation is still pending and is not a final decision. The lawyer said that Ali can appear before the Sports Medical Committee of AIFF (AIFF Standing Committee) and show his opinion and video of his illness and the meeting should be held in the next 10 days, which will be communicated to him.

To this, Tiwari said that while the medical committee is considering the matter, Ali should be allowed to join the team so that he will be able to play if a decision is taken in his favor. The High Court, however, said that the club should consider the request itself keeping in mind the facts of the case. The next hearing of the case will be held on October 20.
