PSG 1-1 BARCELONA (5-2 AGG) PSG go through to the UCL Quarter Finals

Paris Saint Germain kept Barcelona at bay and drew 1-1 with them but there 4-1 win from their first leg was enough to see them through.

Mauricio Pochettino (PSG Manager) has taken the PSG past the round of 16 stage, something that they struggled with for A few seasons until last season when they were runners up to Bayern Munich.

Barcelona's fall is continuing despite slowly turning it around in La Liga they weren't able to turn around this tie.

Lionel Messi couldn't turn this game around it would have been very difficult considering the scoreline and the problem currently going on at Barcelona.

So what now...

Barcelona will have to rely on trying to win La Liga or win Copa del Rey so give them some sort of silverware however with Atletico Madrid still pushing its proving difficult for them to win La Liga.

PSG will be looking to win the UCL after being runners up last season especially with rumours swirling of Mbappe and Neymar both looking to leave in the summer.

PSG currently sit second 2 points of the top in Ligue 1 they will certainly be looking to win that again to keep the streak going.

Neither Lionel Messi nor Cristiano Ronaldo will be in the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2004-05.

This could be Lionel Messi's last ever UCL game for Barcelona as he continues to push for A move elsewhere.

No matter what happens next we fans got the best ever +10 years of football, we witnessed two of the greatest players in the world continue to dominate for so many years.

I think they have 3 seasons left in them both.

They will both be wanting to participate in the 2022 world cup which Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be his last.

Messi, I just don't think he could push to participate in another world cup.

But regardless I see both players playing for 3 seasons because despite them getting old they are still dominating for now.
