Sport is the magic ingredient for a better life

In a current context in which the pandemic is upsetting our lifestyle, sport is an excellent alternative to relieve the stress accumulated daily. There is no doubt that following @actifit's directions and pursuing the goal of 10k steps a day, in addition to producing physical benefits on our body, helps to relax our mind.

Currently in Italy non-aggregative amateur sports are allowed, so it is possible to carry out outdoor activities but not in groups while at the moment we are still evaluating how to act on gyms and swimming pools. By sport I also mean long walks alone, perhaps away from city noises, such as parks, countryside areas, by the sea, wherever our brain can release brain poisoning.

For example, I love taking long walks along the coast of my city, where there is a cycle path for those who prefer to use the bicycle or pedestrian for those who love running or just walking.

It has been calculated that a walk of at least 30 minutes a day helps prevent cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes as well as depression, anxiety and panic. The percentage of depressed patients increased dramatically during the lockdown in Italy which lasted about 2 months from mid-March to mid-May. In this period, any type of outdoor sport, group or individual, was prohibited, unfortunately forcing you to live within the home.

Sport must be a lifestyle that accompanies our days, it is not a commitment but a free opportunity for well-being for ourselves. Pursuing a sport for money is a wrong way of interpreting physical activity, whatever sport everyone decides to engage in must do so with a sense of freedom from money. For example, as a child, like many of my teammates, we dreamed of becoming professional footballers because Italy is the most popular and rewarded sport. Calculator means success, money and power. A really bad view.

Sport is freedom and happiness. Success is a consequence, not a goal. Living a life of sport is arguably better than living a life of regrets in sport for not achieving success.

Regards

Sport is freedom and happiness. Success is a consequence, not a goal.

Well said.

In this situation, we have to be more aware of being healthy and fit. We cannot go out and play as we used to do before, still, what option we have, you can use that to engage in any sort of sports activity. Thank you @claudio83 for sharing this.

This is absolutely true and while I can totally understand why someone would not want to do something like run or jog for 30 minutes, everyone without a disability can walk for that long.
