I heard there was some kind of restriction on professional basketball players from playing in Olympics and that led to US Basketball team not taking taking part in 3X3 games.
Anyways, great to see some new Sports being included in this Olympics and even I read today one of the 13 year old kid from Britain winning gold medal in some street skating event.

I can agree with that about the new games being introduced. It is exciting to see sports like Softball in the games. I will likely keep watching, but all of the stuff going on behind the scenes is starting to turn it a little sour for me.
That's true. World class players are not allowed to take part in the Olympics and miss representing their country is something not in the spirit of the Olympic Games, but not sure what exactly prompts that.
