I am not a martial artist but I hope to join the martial art someday.

I have watched a couple of movies made by martial art experts and I noticed something I would like to share, as It might be useful for self defense outside the combat ring.

If an opponent is harmed with a (knife, stick, stone, bottle, E.T.C.). We should focus more on the hand that he or she used to grab the objects as most of his or her attacks will be coming from that direction.
Focusing on the hand will make is earlier to dodge his attack
