Charleroi vs Beerschot
Charleroi so far is unbeaten, yet only in 10th place as they had 1 win and 4 draws having shown good form overall. They offer a combination of being willing to move forward while still being pretty secure in their defense. Beerschot so far this season has been one of the weaker teams and they are last with 1 point which came from a lucky draw against AA Gent. In the last couple of matches, their coach has been putting all the importance on keeping things closed in the defense so it can be expected for Beerschot to try and park the bus hoping for a counter goal. I do expect them to turn the bad streak around at some point and maybe it will even happen today. My main bet is on the 1st Half Under as I can easily see it starting as a closed match where Charleroi is willing to go forward without overly taking any risks and even when a goal is scored, it might take until much later in the match for things to go wild. I did take a good-sized pre-game position of 0.75 units on
1st Half Under 1 @ 2.035 with an eye to possibly take a bit more before Kick-Off while reducing the exposure setting the stake safe if possible at some point in-game. I'm not quite comfortable to bet Beerschot but they are the side I'm leaning towards given how the market has behaved so far. I also took 15 EOS extra as a Crypto bet on

Cercle Brugge vs Sint-Truiden
This is a matchup between 2 teams that are nothing special. Cercle has shown willingness to attack from the start at home even after taking the lead which leaves them vulnerable on the counters. Stvv is in a 3-game losing streak now. They took a good start away against Eupen in the first 12 minutes but Eupen scored the 1-0 against play giving them more confidence. Overall, both these teams are near the bottom in the current form they are in. I do expect both teams to go for it from the start without fear while at the same time they might lack the ability to actually finish chances also being capable of locking things down when one of them gets into the lead. Eupen vs Seraing
Eupen is the team on top of the standings and they haven't stolen it as they found some good form early in the season. I do expect them to be a team that will eventually have some regression to the mean though. I'm mostly watching out for the signs right now and am not willing to back them as the big favorite or oppose them until the streak turns around. Seraing again has a good home performance despite getting 0-1 against very early in the match, turning it around to a 2-1 win using all the tricks to keep that score late in the game which they can be expected to do more next time they take a lead. If they are behind they have looked really poor in defense though as they have to move forward. Eupen on the other hand has shown to be really dangerous on the counters. This is one of those matches that I will gladly skip for now.

Union vs Standard
I have been writing how Union is a great team without being really underrated on the betting markets especially against closing lines. This seems to be the case again this week with the money clearly being on the home team in the Asian market. They took a 1st big blow last week being outplayed by Kv Mechelen in the 2nd half despite being the better overall team in the 1st half. Standard was massively boosted by the home support last weekend in a match against Oostende where they won 1-0 which was a rather flattering result. Today they won't have the home support and play against a good team who have shown to be able to take an excellent start in their match. I missed out on taking Union 1st half early this week and I'm not going to chase it just yet. I rather wait it all out seeing how it goes live in the match before potentially taking any bets. That being said, I fully expect Union to be the better team today being the first to score.
