The new 2021-2022 season begins here today with the Super Cup, I still have a lot of preparation to do before the start of the Regular Season next week but most of my approach will stay very similar to the previous seasons. I'm still doing all my pre-game and live betting using my betting broker Sportsmarket Pro which imo is a must for anyone more serious about betting looking to actually make a profit long term. I am increasing my personal stakes a but 1 unit (which is a full stake bet) still represents 1 unit. I also plan to get in more crypto betting action this season and the main decentralized bookies I will be using for that are sportbet.one, Betfury.io, Wagerr.com, & Wink.org maybe adding more options during the season. I continue making these previews including the bets I take while covering everything live on the SBC Discord all in the first place as it helps me to stay focussed. Club Brugge vs Racing Genk

The last match last season was this exact matchup with Club Brugge playing as the new champion after having partied a lot which made me side with Genk +0.5 @ 1.917 which ended up in an outright win. Historically, the Supercup is nearly always won by the home team who have gone 14-0 now in a row. This mostly comes because they are the champion playing at home against what often is a weaker team who won the cup in a situation where both still have more focus on preparing for the new season. This time around, Club Brugge will be missing some important players in Mignolet / Vanaken / Vormer while Cuesta, Lucumi & Munoz are still on vacation for Genk after the Copa America with Thorstvedt still recovering from an injury. Club Brugge coach is stating that the Super Cup comes a bit too early for them. Overall this is a game between the 2 best teams of last season who stayed mostly the same despite some missings. For Club Brugge the missings mostly affect the midfield, for Genk it has an impact on the Defense while they are still able to count on the offensive trio Ito-Onuachu-Bongonda. I can't help but feel that the +0.75 line is somewhat overpriced likely because of the historic Supercup results that point toward the home team. I expect a fairly even match and took a tiny 0.2 unit bet on Racing Genk +0.75 @ 1.952 & 0.1 unit extra on Racing Genk 1st Half +0.25 @ 1.975. I'm by no means committed to these bets and might trade out of them in-game if needed. Both teams have a lot of offensive quality while at the defensive end they aren't at 100% which could help for goals. an outright over bet, both to score or Genk Team total Over are all options I'm considering in-game. A draw makes this game directly go to penalties so if it's even late in the game this might kill the action.
