Another good European mid-week with some solid overall profit of close to 0.7 units and things continue to go really well for now. Moving on today with Week 16 in the league already...

Genk vs Charleroi

Genk is first and overall has been the best playing team in the league also because they don't have the fatigue and distraction from European matches. They had a period between week 7 and 12 where it wasn't as convincing as at the start of the season but recently picked up their form again. Last week they didn't play the best 1st half against a very enthusiastic Mechelen but in the 2nd half they were just better despite getting a red card. Overall I see them as a team to back as they can easily cover their handicaps on days that they are swinging. They are 9.5W-4L-1P so far against the handicap and 8.5W-4M-2.5P against the over line. Charleroi on the other hand has been pretty bad as of late and they fired their coach some weeks ago. Last week they took a surprise win against Antwerp in a match where Charleroi would have won maybe 1 out of 10 times. From the looks of of they went from trying to switch their style toward a more attractive offensive game back to being a pure counter team that just tries to break down the opponent and takes the chances on the counter. That is what I'm expecting pretty much today with Genk who did get a goal against in 4 out of their last 5 matches getting the ball and pushing while Charleroi aims to keep them from scoring which will be hard. Just based on what both teams have shown recently, the -1.25 line feels rather soft and I'm willing to take a 0.15 unit bet on Genk -1.25 @ 1.923 with an eye to potentially take more in-game.

Will be an interesting game. Genk will be probably for the first time this season by a full stadion, which will give them extra motivation to push further.
The only thing which I am missing in your preview is the absence of Bilal. I wasn't so impressed by Castro when he did get some playing time. This will have a big impact how Genk will play. Regardless of that I do expect that Genk will add 1 more game to an already impressive winning streak. But we all know that this streak will come to an end and probably in a game we don't expect it. Hopefully that isn't today!
Genk seems to be a banker in my accas this season.

Most likely the first goal will by far be the hardest in this match for Genk, it's one of those matches that should always just be a straightforward result in the end. As always, it still has to be played though and the handicap isn't a given to be covered even if Genk keeps the win home. I'm kind of hoping for a 0-1 or a difficult start for Genk and better betting opportunities.
