I don’t follow sports so this is the first I’ve heard about the controversy. Ouch, I can’t imagine how that made the athletes feel hearing people claim it was the shoes that caused the new world records and not their hard work. Yikes!
Reading this post brings back memories of when I ran cross country in college. I remember how great it felt getting a new pair of running shoes :)
I’ll have to stay tuned to see if you find out anything further. I sure hope it was just a coincidence too.

This is going on for some time now and it's far from over. The more regulations the World Athletics is going to introduce, the more Nike and other companies will try to bring improvement to running shoes.
If you're a runner, shoes are the most important items you need to pay attention to. I would love to put my hand on a pair of shoes like that but for me it's not worth spending that much money on a pair of running shoes.
I’d have to agree. Anytime I buy running shoes I’m looking for a bargain deal. As long as they are comfortable I love them. I know it’s different for the athletic works though.
