You are spot on with this. i do believe sports is ready to move forward now after the first part was a massive learning curve. I agree self voting doesn't help and I think if you look at sports from Peakd it looks totally different. lately I have been hunting for comments and upvoting them and any post that is what I would see as low. This can be sorted and I don't believe it will take that long just a concerted effort by everyone in the community.

We can all see the great work that you do on the site to try and help it grow. Curation is very important and i guarantee as soon as the price gets high enough a lot of users will flood into the space to try and earn. That's why it is so important to have everything set up and ready when they arrive.
It was one of the fatal flaws of steem back in the last bull run. So many users joined to earn, created great work and then left after never getting seen or voted. There have been many learning curves but at least with the tribes we can do it better this time. That and a 2 week wait to join in the peak. It's time to plan and move forward with what can be a great project.
It just needs the vision and the team to do it. The community will follow the lead and lots of people will be willing to do their part if they believe in what is being built here.
