His father Pierre Aubameyang, also known as YaYa Aubameyang, was a Gabonese defender.

The name Aubameyang was born with his father so that he could obtain French nationality.
YaYa Aubameyang played part of his career in France.
He was one of the best African defenders in the 1980s and 1990s, becoming the captain of the Gabon national team.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang played in several training clubs in France.

At 13 Aubameyang went to play for the AC Milan club where his father was a scout.

Due to the influence that his father had, he managed to place his three children in the training ranks of AC Milan.

In 2007, Aubameyang aged 17 represented the club in the championship in Malaysia considered as the U21 Club World Cup. In this championship he was the best scorer.

Even though he was gaining prominence in the training ranks Aubameyang was left behind by the club's coaches and played very little due to the fact that he was not Italian.

At this point his manager thought it best to look for new clubs for him.
That was when a proposal for a loan from Dijon by Aubameyang appeared in the 2008/09 season.

At the age of 18, he made his debut in Ligue 1 and scored 18 goals, sparking Lille's interest.

In the following season, 2009/10, he was loaned to Lillemas here he hardly played having spent most of the season on the bench (he only participated in 24 games and scored 2 goals).

At this time, an invitation came to represent the Gabonese team that he accepted to represent France and Italy in the U21 and U23.

In the 2010/11 season AC Milan again loaned Aubameyang to Monaco this time.

His stint at Monaco was also not very happy, ending up with only 2 goals in 23 games.
In January 2011, still in the 2010/11 season, he ended up being loaned to Saint-Étienne who had shown a lot of interest in the player.

At the end of this season Saint-Étienne decided to hire Aubameyang permanently, paying 1.8 million euros.

Aubameyang's comments on his stint at AC Milan were as follows:

AC Milan never gave me a chance to show my talent.

In the first season after signing Aubameyang scored 18 goals in 33 games.
At the end of this season he represented Gabon at the Olympics having scored the only goal in the country's history at the Olympics and that gave victory against Switzerland.

I was born in France, grew up in Italy and could play in Spain but I chose to defend Gabon just like my father. I may not have been born in Africa, but Africa was born in me.

In the 2012/13 season, he scored 23 goals in 40 matches. The good performances sparked the interest of Borussia Dortmund.
He ended up transferring to Borussia Dortmund for 13 million euros.

This made him become the first player from Gabon to represent a team in the Bundesliga making his debut on August 12, 2013. Right in his first game he scored a hat-trick against Wolfsburg.

In the first season for Borussia he played as a left winger but even so he scored 13 goals and 4 assists.

In the 2014/15 season he went on to play as a striker after his teammates were performing poorly in this position. This change in his position made him finish the season with 16 goals and 7 assists.

In 2015 he was elected the best African player of the year after the previous 4 years were won by YaYa Touré.

One of the things that highlighted his celebrations was the fact that he wore superhero masks in honor of his son.
However, in one of these celebrations he received a fine of 170 thousand euros for the club for celebrating one of his goals with a mask alluding to Nike when the club was practiced by Puma.

One of Aubameyang's greatest idols was Hernan Crespo, AC Milan forward:

Crespo is a definition of killer he was rarely involved in grabs grabs within the area. He was not to be seen wearing out unnecessarily and suddenly he was either in play or in bounce. I played soccer every day to be like Crespo.

In Dortmund he formed 5 seasons, the best phase of his career, having scored 141 goals in 213 games and became one of the fans' idols.
Despite these events, his excesses outside the field ended up compromising his relationship in Germany.
Several nights and delays in training were denigrating its climate in Dortmund.

Aubameyang was upset with Dortmund, as he had already shown a desire to leave but the club always refused to negotiate with interested parties (ex: Real Madird and Manchester City).

In the middle of the 2017/2018 season he forced his departure because he had no more goals in Dortmund.

It was then that Arsenal appeared and paid 64 million euros for his transfer.

At the beginning of his new adventure he rocked having scored 10 goals in 14 games however he ended up getting injured and practically lost the rest of the season.

At the end of the 2018/19 season, his second season at Arsenal, he finished with 22 goals scored in the league and 8 goals in the UEFA Europe League.

This made him chosen as Arsenal's best player.
He is currently the captain of Arsenal.

WILL we see Aubameyang winning relevant titles for Arsenal? Or will it be another player like others who form there and ended up not winning titles for the club?
